Job Description

• Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology

Required Qualifications

• Valid Mammography Technologist license in California
• Minimum of 1 year of Mammography Technologist experience
• Mammography Technologist experience within the last year

Required Documentation & Background Checks

• Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID).
• Social Security Card (as applicable for I9 verification).
• E-Verify attestation required.
• Background check within 90 days of start, covering all locations lived/worked in past 7 years; must be updated annually.
• Education verification required for all candidates; nursing degree verification for RNs/LVNs.
• EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks required within 30 days of start and updated monthly.
• State-specific background checks as applicable (e.g., Washington State Patrol Search if working in WA or border facilities).
• Drug screening: 9-panel drug screen within 12 months of start; instant tests acceptable.
• References: Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting.
• Employment application covering at least the last 5 years of employment.

Health & Safety Requirements

• Physical exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, NP, PA, or DO, confirming ability to work with or without accommodation.
• Fit mask test required for travel candidates starting on or after 2/5/2024; must be updated annually.
• Immunizations/vaccinations required (or signed declination accepted):

  • TDAP (Tetanus/Diphtheria/Pertussis) within 10 years
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 12 months (annual updates required)
  • MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) - 2 vaccines or positive titer
  • Hepatitis B vaccination or signed declination
  • Varicella vaccination or positive titer
  • Seasonal Flu vaccine during flu season (9/1–3/30) or signed declination
  • COVID vaccination record preferred; declinations accepted with adherence to masking policies
• Respiratory Safety Clearance required annually for travel candidates.

Competencies & Training

• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam as applicable.
• Competency exams required by specialty.
• Color Blind Testing may be required on a unit basis.
• Annual completion of regulatory and specialty-specific training modules via LMS (Workramp), including:

  • Annual Regulatory Requirements
  • System Specialty Specific Modules
  • Regional Core and Specialty Specific Modules (California region)
• Epic training modules required if applicable to the facility/unit.

Additional Requirements

• Photo for badge: Passport-style photo with neutral background required.
• Float Policy Acknowledgement: May be required to float to other nearby facilities.
• Skills checklist: Required annually for applicable units.

• Shift is full-time day shift, Monday through Friday, 8 hours per day.
