Job Overview

• Location: Mauston, Wisconsin
• Employment type: Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:30am–4:00pm
• Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathologist license in Wisconsin
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Complete documentation, including evaluations, plans of care, progress reports, and discharge reports
• Contact insurance companies regarding benefits
• Prepare for evaluation and treatment sessions
• Educate staff on evaluation results, recommendations, and current research-based guidance
• Create in-service presentations and educational opportunities for staff
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to support patient-centered treatment
• Clean treatment rooms after sessions
• Provide reminder calls to patients
• Help patients and families navigate the hospital
• Perform other assigned duties
