Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Day Shift

Location: Gunnison, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Assist and supervise day-to-day nursing activities in a long-term care setting.
Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
Maintain a high degree of total quality care throughout the shift.
Work under the direction of the Director of Nursing.

Required Qualifications

Valid LPN / LVN license in Colorado
Minimum 3 years of Long Term Care nursing experience, including experience within the last year
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices

Additional Information

Reliable transportation is required due to lack of public transportation in the rural area.
Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
