Scrubbing required

Required Qualifications

BLS certification
CST through Surgical Technologist program
Does not accept NCCT
Minimum of 2 years of OR experience
Endovascular (IR procedures) experience
Vascular experience

Clinical Details

Average of 3 cases per day
Common cases include Endovascular (IR procedures), everything in Vascular, and amputations

Schedule

12-hour day shifts
Weekend call: Sat/Sun call from 7a Saturday to 7a Monday, every 3rd weekend
Holiday call rotation
Shift details to be discussed in interview

Float Scope

May float to help other surgical teams, IR teams, or SPD if qualified

Additional Notes

Charge nurse and/or house supervisor on each shift
OR techs on site
Unit orientation includes scrubbing with a hospital surgical tech for a week
