Role Overview

  • Travel RN position in the Emergency Department
  • Unit has 67 beds
  • Patient ratio: 4:1
  • Schedule includes as-needed weekends/on-call coverage

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
  • ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
  • TNCC
  • NIHSS
  • CPI

Preferred Qualifications

  • Meditech knowledge

Unit Details

  • Day shift staffing includes 1 supervisor, 1 charge, multi techs, 1 CNA, and 19 nurses
  • Night shift staffing includes 1 supervisor, 1 charge, multi techs, 1 CNA, and 19 nurses

Work Environment

  • Must be flexible with changing ER acuity and census
  • RN must wear navy scrubs
  • No visible tattoos
  • Hair longer than shoulder length must be pulled back
  • No gel or acrylic nails
