Job Summary

Seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to provide respiratory therapy services during night shifts. This is a travel contract position with a 13-week duration. Candidates residing within Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe counties are not eligible.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, including experience within the last year
• Certifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) issued by the American Heart Association
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by the American Heart Association
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• All certifications must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the assignment start date. Expiring certifications must be renewed prior to starting.
• Comprehensive criminal background check including searches in Monroe, Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties, plus statewide and national checks
• Florida AHCA Level II fingerprint clearance required prior to start
• Health requirements:

  • Physical exam within 1 year of start date
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within past 12 months (renewed annually)
  • Immunizations or positive titers for Measles (Rubeola), Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31)
  • COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption (updated annually)
  • 10-panel urine drug test within 45 days of start at a SAMHSA-certified lab
• Verification of highest level of education related to specialty
• Recent color photo with plain white background required within 1 year of start
