Overview

• Schedule note: 36/48-hour option; every other weekend required; holidays as scheduled
• Floating: Required within the specialty

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS

Clinical Setting

• Fast-paced emergency department
• Average daily census: 130
• Beds: 47
• Patient ratio: 1:4
• Patient population: All ages, from infant to geriatric
• Patient diagnoses: All diagnoses, including complex cases
