Cardiovascular ICU role with floating between CVICU, CVCU, and PCU units
Care is provided to adult cardiac patients with diagnoses such as heart failure, post-cardiac arrest, cardiothoracic surgery, IABP therapy, Impella insertion, post-PCI, pacemaker insertion, ablation, arrhythmia, STEMI/NSTEMI, and EKOS
Strong cardiac experience is needed
The unit includes cardiovascular intensive care and cardiovascular intermediate care beds

Advanced certification is encouraged
Training is provided for cardiovascular intensive care skills, including intra-aortic balloon pump, continuous renal replacement therapy, targeted temperature management, and ventricular assist devices
