Case Manager

Overview

• Travel/contract role in Eureka, California
• Day shift: 5x8 hours, 8:00–16:30
• 40 hours per week
• Start date: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Acute Care Case Management (2 years of experience)
• Acute Care Case Management experience within the last year

Schedule and Work Expectations

• Every other weekend required
• Call not required
• Floating between like units may be required based on need

Candidate Considerations

• First-time travelers accepted with clinical approval
• Local candidates accepted

Documentation and Compliance

• Government-issued photo ID
• Social Security card, as applicable for I-9
• E-Verify attestation
• Background check and education verification required
• Employment application covering at least the last 5 years
• Minimum of 2 references covering 1 year of employment total within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Skills checklist required for the applicable unit
• Physical exam within 1 year of start
• Fit mask clearance required
• TB clearance required
• Tdap within 10 years
• Measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, varicella, flu, COVID, and respirator clearance requirements apply

• Epic charting
• Free parking on first day; assignment parking provided during orientation
• Housing support is available if needed, including help finding housing
