Role Overview

Travel/Contract assignment in Bridgeport, Connecticut
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
26-week assignment; 13 weeks accepted
36 hours per week
Short term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds
Level II Trauma Center
Floating expected between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford campuses, with rotation through all areas of the hospital including NICU and Pediatric units
Every other weekend and holidays as needed

Required Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Connecticut
Respiratory Therapist (2 years of experience)
Respiratory Therapist experience within the last year
One completed travel assignment
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
Level II Trauma experience
Draeger ventilator experience

Preferred Qualifications

NICU experience

Additional Notes

May be asked to orientate students or new hires if needed
Charting system: EPIC
