Overview

• Travel/Contract assignment in Seattle, Washington
• 13-week contract
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Traveler choice for assignment length: 13 or 26 weeks
• Traveler choice for schedule: 3x12s or 4x12s

Role Details

• Mother-Baby / Couplet Care / Post Partum
• Large-volume, high-census postpartum unit with high-risk obstetric patients
• Float scope includes postpartum at Issaquah Campus, postpartum at Edmonds Campus, and Labor and Delivery for the 2nd hour of recovery
• May be asked to manage a 4th couplet during census surge

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Post Partum (2 years of experience)
• Post Partum experience within the last year
• High-risk obstetric care experience
• Magnesium management experience
• Pitocin administration experience
• Postpartum hemorrhage management experience
• Substance withdrawal care experience
• Management of 4 couplets (concurrent patient assignments)
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure
• Experience with Epic

Preferred Qualifications

• JADA experience

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted if they have at least 2 years of experience with high acuity postpartum acuity
• 6 weekend days per contract
