Case Manager

Overview

• Location: Roseville, California
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Day, 5x8 hours
• Hours per week: 40
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, no weekends, no call
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in California
• Case Management (2 years of experience)
• Case Management experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Utilization Review (InterQual)
• Utilization Management

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Nursing

Relevant Skills

• Knowledge of health care delivery and case management in a managed care environment
• Knowledge of utilization review, levels of care, and observation status
• Knowledge of post-acute levels of care and related regulatory compliance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Negotiation skills
• Excellent time management in a high-volume, rapidly changing environment
• Intermediate computer and technology skills
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and collaborate effectively with patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other partners
