Overview
- Performs diagnostic imaging using radiographic equipment
- Explains exams, safety protocols, and procedures to patients
- Works independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Assigned to one radiography area, with possible coverage in alternate locations after appropriate training
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiology Technologist license in Massachusetts
- Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- 1 year of Radiology Technologist experience
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Certificate or Diploma in Radiography
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Radiography
- Registered Technologist (R.T.(ARRT))
- 0–1 year of experience in radiology technology preferred
