Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Nephrology Telemetry Nights

Job Details

• Shift: Nights
• Patient Ratio: 1:5-6
• Weekend Requirement: 2 shifts every other weekend

  • For night shift: Friday/Saturday or Saturday/Sunday (depending on rotation)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week (3 shifts of 12 hours)
• Float: Clinician may float within scope to meet facility needs
• Block Schedule: Not accommodated
• Locals Accepted: No (local radius rule: 75 miles)
• Pending License Accepted: Yes
• On-call: No
• Special Requirements: Experience with Peritoneal Dialysis

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Telemetry experience (minimum 1 year), with telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with Peritoneal Dialysis

Additional Requirements

• Background Checks: Criminal background check within 6 months required
• Drug Testing: Required within 1 year of start, must include standard panels
• Physical Exam: Required within 1 year of start
• Immunizations & Health:

  • Tdap vaccine or declination required
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella immunity or vaccination required
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
• Fit Mask Testing: Annual fit testing required (N95 respirators)
• Competency Exams: Unit-specific competency exam required annually
• References: Two professional references required (supervisors preferred)
• Skills Checklist: Unit-specific skills checklist required within 1 year of start
• Compliance Documents: Must complete facility-specific policies and training modules prior to start
