Infection Preventionist

Role Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Orange, California.
  • Acute care hospital setting.
  • Monday-Friday schedule with no weekends or holidays.
  • Day shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in California.
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Infection Control experience within the last year.
  • 1 year of Infection Control experience.
  • Experience in an Acute Care setting.
  • CIC certification.

Preferred Qualifications

  • EPIC experience.

Additional Notes

  • The role does not need to be an RN; a degree in Public Health, Lab Sciences, Microbiology, or a related health science field is also acceptable.
  • House Supervisor candidates will be considered if they have Infection Prevention experience.
  • Start date: ASAP.
  • Guaranteed hours may be reduced by facility call-offs once per two-week pay period.
  • RTO must be included at time of submission.
  • Travel pairs are not considered.
  • Local radius is 50 miles.
  • Housing is not mentioned.
