Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in District of Columbia
ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support issued by American Heart Association
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Health and Compliance Requirements

Physical exam
Fit testing within 1 year of start and annual updates
Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap
Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start, with annual update
Measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella immunity documentation
Hepatitis B documentation or declination form
Drug screen within the last 12 months
COVID vaccination prior to start
Flu vaccination during flu season, unless an approved exemption is completed on the facility-specific form

Notes

Certification cards must be valid at start and not expire within 30 days of start
The role requires completion of facility-specific onboarding documents before start
