Overview

Location: Wilmington, North Carolina
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Unit: Neuro unit
Shift: Nights
Hours: 36 or 48 hours accepted
Contract length: 13 weeks
Ratios: 1:6
Float scope: Travelers float first
Weekend requirement: 5–6 weekend shifts, about every other weekend
RTO: After booking is not allowed; additional RTO on unit may result in cancellation and DNR

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Med Surg (2 years of experience)
Med Surg experience within the last year
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross

Preferred Qualifications

NIH
Neuro experience
Experience or willingness to learn the charge nurse role

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Local candidates are accepted
Patient focus is general medicine with a focus on neuro
Unit systems used: Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR
Unit orientation is 24 hours
Scrubs are not provided; navy blue is required
