MedSurg RN

Overview

  • Travel/Contract role in Beaufort, South Carolina
  • Dayshift, 3x12 hours, 7:00–19:00
  • 13-week contract
  • ASAP start
  • Possible extension: Yes
  • 36 hours per week

Unit / Setting

  • 4T MS unit
  • 29-bed general surgical and ortho unit with medical overflow
  • Role frequently floats to Stepdown and MS/Tele units
  • May float to PCU as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in South Carolina
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Med Surg experience
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
  • PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

  • Travel experience preferred
  • 1st time travelers accepted

Additional Notes

  • Cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
  • Ratios: Stepdown 1:4-5; Medsurg 1:5-6
  • Scrubs provided: No; royal blue/white
  • EMR: Meditech
