• Occasional weekends and holidays required
• No on-call or block schedules
• No floating between units

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician, with recent experience within the last year
• At least 2 years of total travel experience in the specialty

Competencies & Training

• Medication test/pharmacology competency exam as applicable
• Competency exams required as applicable by specialty
• Epic training modules required for Providence OR and Spokane hospital systems; must be completed within a week of orientation
• Annual regulatory and specialty-specific Workramp modules required
• Color blind testing may be required on a unit basis

Additional Requirements

• Passport-style badge photo with neutral background required
• Float policy acknowledgement required; may be asked to float to other nearby facilities
• WA Multi-State Licensed Nurses Demographic Attestation required for out-of-state compact license holders working in Washington

Notes

• No 48-hour shifts approved
• Scrub color: any color allowed; surgical services scrubs provided
• Parking is free
• Prior travel experience is mandatory (minimum 2 years travel experience)
• References and employment history must be verifiable and meet specified time frames

This position is ideal for experienced sterile processing technicians with prior travel assignments who are comfortable working evening shifts with occasional weekends in a Level III Trauma Center environment.
