Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:30 AM - 6:00 PM)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care, Level I Trauma Center
Charting System: Epic
Weekend Requirement: As needed
Float Requirement: Yes
Guaranteed Hours: Yes
Pending License Accepted: Yes (with approval for Return to Office >7 days)

Job Description / Duties

Triaging phone calls and patient messages
Supporting clinic operations and administrative tasks
Handling pre-authorizations and FMLA paperwork
Managing medication refills

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Connecticut
Hematology / Oncology experience within the last year (minimum 1 year)
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) certification
