Registered Nurse – ER (Charlottesville, Virginia)

Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Night (4 shifts of 12 hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Hours per Week: 48 hours (36 hours option available)
Schedule Details:

Weekends required
Scheduled days vary based on staffing needs
Every other holiday required
Block scheduling cannot be guaranteed
Maximum 40 hours approved for time off

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
Experience working with pediatric patients
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Current certifications required before start:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
