Registered Nurse – MST Float Pool

Location: Trenton, New Jersey
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours per Week: 36
Contract Length: 8 weeks

Job Overview

Seeking an experienced MST (Medical-Surgical-Telemetry) RN to join the Float Pool team. The role requires floating between multiple campuses and covering any MST unit or Emergency Department (ED) Holds as needed.

Schedule

• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New Jersey
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience, with at least 1 year of recent experience in this area
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS

Additional Requirements & Information

• Must be able to float between different units and campuses
• Use of Cerner EMR system
• Navy blue scrub color required
• Any RN who calls off a scheduled shift must make up the missed shift within the same week; overtime is not permitted for make-up shifts. If unable to make up within the week, the assignment end date will be extended accordingly.

Compliance & Screening

• Background check and drug screen required
• Various mandatory trainings and competency exams including Dysrhythmia Basic A, IV exam, medication test, and core annual training
• Verification of education, license, and professional references
• Immunizations and screenings: Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, TB screening, physical exam
• National and state-level registries and sanction checks

This position is ideal for RNs with solid MST experience who are flexible and able to work varied shifts across multiple units.
