Overview
- Contract role in Pahala, Hawaii.
- Small critical access hospital with no separate units; RNs cover all areas.
- Role covers ER, acute, and LTC.
- If assigned to the ER and there are no patients, RN provides backup in the acute and LTC areas.
- If assigned to meds, RN must pass meds and do procedures for LTC and acute patients.
- Not a latex free facility.
- Hours are not guaranteed.
Schedule
- 6 x 12-hour shifts, 72 hours in a two-week period, with every 3rd weekend off.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Hawaii
- ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
- ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
- BLS
- ACLS
- CPI
- NIHSS
- NRP
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
