Registered Nurse - Med Surg

Location: Terre Haute, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Details

• Unit: Medical/Surgical (4EA), 32 beds with remote telemetry
• Telemetry monitored 24/7; patients have telemetry only if ordered
• Patient types include:

  • Stable ventilator patients
  • Bipap patients
  • Acute and chronic renal failure
  • Dialysis
  • Fluid overload
  • Medical and surgical patients
• Physician support from Internal Medicine, Family Practice, and Hospitalist overflow
• Shift: 3x 12-hour night shifts

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Indiana
• Minimum of 1 year Med Surg experience, with recent Med Surg experience within the last year
• BLS Certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• ASAP start
• Must be willing to travel beyond a 50-mile radius (no local candidates within 50 miles)
• 100-mile radius rule applies
• IV drips experience required, including:

  • Dopamine (constant rate, no titration) for renal perfusion
  • Heparin
