- Travel RN assignment in Lewisville, Texas.
- 7P-7A schedule.
- 36 hours per week.
- 13-week contract.
Unit
- Ortho Trauma Unit / Med Surg
- 32 beds
- 4th floor, A tower
- May float to Surgical Telemetry Unit or Inpatient Rehab
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Med Surg (2 years of experience)
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- Charge experience
- Preceptor experience
Unit Details
- Patient ratio: 1:6
- Staffed with RN, LVN, and PCT
- Common equipment includes Baxter IV pumps and Welch Allyn VS machines
- EMR: Meditech
Typical Procedures
- Ambulation of patients
- Wound care as needed
