RN Tele

Overview

  • Travel RN role in Kingwood, Texas
  • Unit: 4NT M/S Telemetry
  • 28-bed unit on Floor 4, North Tower
  • 36 hours per week
  • Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Texas
  • Med Surg / Telemetry (1 year of experience)
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSN
  • Flexibility
  • Dependability

Unit Details

  • Patient ratio: 1:5-6
  • Equipment includes Baxter IV pumps, SCD machines, glucometer, mobilab, and Welch Allyn
  • Typical procedures: telemetry monitoring and wound care

Floating

  • Other M/S tele units
  • ED for inpatient hold patients

Schedule

  • 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule required for full time
  • No call required

Additional Notes

  • Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs
  • EMR: Meditech
