Registered Nurse - Bone Marrow Transplant Oncology

Location: Denver, Colorado
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Unit Information

Unit: Infusion – 3B
Beds: 55 beds, 176 chairs
Staff: 86 core staff
Shift Options:
- Day: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4 shifts of 10 hours) or 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (3 shifts of 12 hours)
- Night shifts not available
Weekends/Holidays: May be required based on staffing needs
Patient Ratios: Variable depending on acuity and volume
Equipment: Baxter infusion pumps
EMR Systems: Meditech and OncoEMR

Job Description

Provide outpatient infusion care for transplant and oncology patients, including support for transplant cellular therapy and liver/renal transplant programs.
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, lymphodepleting chemotherapy, blood products, antibiotics, IVIG, and IV fluids.
Perform Granix and Mozobil injections for transplant/cellular therapy collections.
Provide oversight for cellular procedures after required training.
Support outpatient CAR T infusions.

Required Qualifications

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
Minimum 1 year of Bone Marrow Transplant experience, including experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Certification (ONS/ONCC)
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
