ICU Registered Nurse

Overview

• Location: Marlborough, Massachusetts
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 hours
• Weekly hours: 36
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Float: May float to the ED for boarders as needed
• Weekend requirement: Every third weekend

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Massachusetts
• MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
• MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• SICU - Surgical Intensive Care experience
• Experience with Epic

Additional Requirements

• Must pass a medication exam and a telemetry exam at orientation; each allows one attempt, and failure results in immediate cancellation
• 2 references within the last 3 years
• Skills checklist prior to start
• Employment application must include 7 years of employment history and explanations for gaps greater than 30 days
• Valid photo ID
• Physical exam within 12 months of start, with a statement of fitness to work without restrictions
• Drug test within 30 days of start
• TB screening documentation
• Immunization or declination documentation for MMR, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Varicella, COVID-19, and flu
• Background check and state-specific screening requirements
• Education verification and transcript/diploma documentation as applicable
