Job Opportunity: CT Tech (Travel/Contract)

Location: New Orleans, Louisiana

Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Must apply for Allied Health licensure within 72 hours of signing the contract.
Work schedule options:
- 7 days on / 7 days off
- Night shifts: either 4x10-hour shifts (21:30 - 08:00) or 3x12-hour shifts (19:30 - 08:00)
Experience required in Emergency Department (ED), inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Candidate expected to float between ED, main campus, outpatient, and nearby clinics.
Must be comfortable being assigned to an "Emergency Team" during emergency events, which may require staying at the facility until the event passes or serving on a relief team.
Must work holidays if scheduled.
Epic and GE system experience required.
Unit does not accept first-time travelers.

Required Qualifications

Valid CT Technologist license in Louisiana
ARRT (CT) certification
Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Completion of at least one travel assignment
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Experience with GE Healthcare imaging systems
