Cardiac Cath Lab RN

Overview

• Travel/Contract role in Jefferson City, Missouri
• Start date: ASAP
• Day shift: 4x10 hours, 6:30–17:00
• 40 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Cardiac Cath Lab (2 years of experience)
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or RQI
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience with Epic

Schedule / On-Call / Float

• Weekend call rotation required
• On-call required: 12–15, depending on staffing/vacations/etc.
• May float to other departments when volumes are low, including preop, PACU, POST, IVR, op, and OR, to help with tasks as needed
• Travelers may be required to participate in holiday and weekend rotation

Clinical Setting

• Cardiac cath and PCI
• STEMI Designated Hospital
• Vascular procedures
• Pacemakers and ICD implants
• Complete pre/post care of all outpatients
