Radiation Therapist

Job Overview

Location: Arlington, Virginia
Employment type: Travel/Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Shift length: 8 hours
Hours per week: 40
Contract length: 13 weeks
Patient population: Adults and geriatrics
Daily volume: 30–40 patients per day

Required Qualifications

Valid Radiation Therapist license in Virginia
Radiation Therapist (2 years of experience)
Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
BLS issued by American Heart Association
ARRT (T)
Experience with Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator
Experience with CBCT/kV/mV imaging
Experience with IMRT dosimetry systems
Experience with Electron Beam Therapy
Experience with Electron Field treatment
Experience with Respiratory Gating/Breath Hold techniques for Left Breast treatment
Experience with Heterotopic Bone treatment
Experience with Superior Vena Cava treatment
Experience with Gynecomastia treatment
Experience with Prophylactic Treatments

Additional Notes

First-time travelers are accepted
Minimal time off requested
Any scrub color is allowed
Flu vaccination is required during flu season, unless an approved medical or religious exemption is in place
