ER Travel Nurse

Overview

• Location: Hagerstown, Maryland
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours, 19:00–07:00
• Hours per week: 36
• Contract length: 20 weeks
• Setting: Busy Level 2 Trauma Center with a fast-paced 54-bed emergency department that sees about 220 patients per day

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• 1 year or more of total travel experience
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• PALS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• TNCC
• NIHSS
• Experience with Epic

Requirements

• Local candidates not accepted
• 2-step PPD and flu vaccine required; no exemptions

Additional Notes

• NIH Stroke Certification may be completed onsite if needed
• Candidates using a compact RN license must provide proof of state residency with a driver’s license matching the compact-license state
