Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
• Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Ability to read and interpret heart rhythms
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience

Additional Details

• The unit cares for patients across the life span and requires age-appropriate assessment and care
• The role includes patient assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, patient/family education, delegation, documentation, and coordination with the care team
• The nurse attends at least eight monthly staff meetings annually and participates in unit/hospital committees and continuous performance improvement
