Cardiovascular Technician (Temporary)

Location: Lansing, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Shift: Days
Hours per Day: 10
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Provide services in the Cardiovascular/Interventional Laboratory including:
- Cardiac catheterization
- Angiography
- Peripheral angioplasty with or without stent placement
- Venography
- Cardiac pacemaker insertions
- Various non-vascular interventional procedures
Work involves both inpatient and one-day outpatient services

Required Qualifications

Cardiovascular Technologist with 2 years of experience
Cardiovascular Technologist experience within the last year
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Preferred Qualifications

Cardiac experience
Interventional Radiology (IR) experience

Additional Information

Facility uses Cerner EMR system
Position is based in a tertiary teaching hospital with 310 acute care beds
