Med/Surg Tele/IMC Float Pool RN

Role Overview

• Travel/Contract RN position in the Med/Surg Tele/IMC Float Pool.
• Traveler will float from MS units to IMC units.
• Shift: Day, 4x12 hours, 6:30–19:00.
• Must be comfortable with 1:4–1:6 ratios.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Maryland.
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing.
• One completed travel assignment.
• Intermediate Care (2 years of experience).
• Intermediate Care experience within the last year.
• Experience in an Acute Care setting.
• Telemetry experience.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense.
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross or United States Department of Defense.
• NIHSS.
• Experience with Epic.

• First-time travelers are not accepted.
• Locals are not accepted.
• Patients may include acute respiratory distress, septic shock, hypertensive crisis, severe congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and trauma.
