MS/Tele Float

Overview

• Travel/contract RN role in Beaufort, South Carolina
• 13-week assignment
• Night shift: 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• Possible extension

Unit and Work Setting

• Stepdown role that frequently floats to MedSurg and Tele units
• Must be comfortable working in both Stepdown and MedSurg settings
• MedSurg patients may float to the PCU unit as needed
• Ratios: Stepdown 1:4-5; MedSurg 1:5-6
• 29-bed general surgical and ortho unit with medical overflow

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in South Carolina
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Telemetry experience within the last year
• 2 years of Telemetry experience
• PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS

Additional Notes

• First-time travelers are accepted
• Travelers cannot live within 50 miles of the facility
• No license or background hits accepted
• Travel experience is preferred
• Scrubs are not provided; required colors are royal blue and white
• Meditech is used for the EMR
