Job Opportunity: Outpatient Clinic Infusion Nurse
Location: Los Angeles, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: Day shift, 4 days per week, 10 hours per day (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM)
- Weekend, floating, and on-call shifts are not required
- Scheduling requests cannot be accommodated
- Must have an active California RN license at time of application
- Experience required: Minimum 2 years in Outpatient Oncology nursing
- First-time travel nurses are accepted
- EPIC electronic health record system experience required
Required Certifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – AHA or ARC accepted
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) certification required; OCN preferred
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Minimum 2 years of infusion nursing experience, including infusion experience within the last year
- Experience in an outpatient setting with oncology patients
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC)
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) or Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC) certification
Onboarding Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID required
- Professional photo for badge (strict guidelines on appearance and background)
- Two professional references required, at least one supervisory
- Attestation of prior radiation exposure if assigned to specific units
- Completion of facility-required modules and timecard submission
- Fire safety card to be obtained during orientation
Additional Notes
- No prior travel experience required
- This position does not accommodate schedule changes or weekend shifts
- Candidates must be prepared to comply with all health and safety documentation and certification requirements prior to start date
