Overview
- Travel/contract RN role in Frederick, Maryland
- Unit: 4G/Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Tele
- Adult and geriatric patients requiring cardiac monitoring and a higher level of observation than a Medical-Surgical unit
- Schedule: 3x12s, night shift (19:00–7:30)
- Rotating weekends and holidays
- Float within scope as needed
- Block scheduling is not available
- Contract length: 13 weeks
Staffing / Unit Details
- 12 PCU beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:4
- Telemetry patients: typically 1:5, maximum 1:6
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Maryland
- Telemetry (3 years of experience)
- Telemetry experience within the last year
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- NIHSS
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Preferred Qualifications
- MEDITECH experience preferred
