Overview

Travel/contract role in Winston Salem, North Carolina
Night shift: 3x12 hours, 18:45–07:15
36 hours per week
Floating required to other med/surg units/floors
Every other weekend required
Unit is fast-paced

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in North Carolina
Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
2 or more completed travel assignments
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
IV start skill

Preferred

Telemetry experience

Assignment Details

Target patient ratio is 1:6, with occasional 1:7 due to staffing needs
Unit accepts 13-week assignments or longer
Orientation is 36 hours
Scrubs: navy and/or white

Clinical Setting

Med/surg unit with GI-focused patients, including GI conditions, blood loss/anemia, infections, renal patients, and post-GI surgery patients
Includes 10 telemetry beds for cardiac rhythm monitoring
