Job Summary

Coordinate and provide direct nursing care for assigned patients
Educate patients and families
Support transitions of care
Plan, implement, evaluate, and communicate all phases of nursing care
Provide leadership through preceptor and informal leadership roles
Participate in quality improvement efforts and committees/projects
Delegate patient care based on skill level, experience, patient acuity, and resources

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Florida
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room (OR) experience, preferably within the last year
Experience in Urology, General Surgery, and Gynecology (including OB/GYN)
