13 weeks

Schedule

Nights
12-hour shifts
Blocked weekender schedule
One day and one night position available

Required Qualifications

Valid Illinois RN license
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
2 years of CVICU experience
CVICU experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
PALS
NIHSS
Experience working with Level 2 Trauma patients
Experience pulling sheaths

Preferred Experience

Open heart experience
Experience pulling sheaths
CRRT experience
Level 2 trauma experience or above

Clinical Details

Patient population includes post-PCI, post-bypass, and CHF
RNs are required to titrate drips
RNs interpret strips
Tele monitor tech monitors the unit
24/7 intensivist/hospitalist coverage
Respiratory therapy is assigned 24/7 to ICU/PCU

Additional Notes

4 hours of billable computer modules are required before start and should be added to the first week’s timesheet
