Overview

13-week travel assignment for two ICU RNs
Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana
Unit: 12-bed ICU
Shift: 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM, 3 shifts per week
Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
Floating: Critical Care only
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2 to 1:3

Required Qualifications

Current Indiana or compact RN license
BLS
ACLS
At least 2 years of RN experience
At least 1 year of ICU experience
Comfortable with vent management, vasoactive gtts, and psychiatric patients

Unit Details

Equipment used in the unit includes ventilators, Bipap, and EV 100s
Charting and medication administration systems used in the unit include EPIC and Pyxis

Orientation

8 hours of non-billable orientation
7 days of mandatory orientation
2 days of floor training after jumpstart orientation

Additional Notes

Caribbean blue scrubs required
