Registered Nurse (ICU) - Travel Position

Location: Albany, New York
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Must have Epic electronic medical record experience.
• Navy blue scrubs are required.
• Prior travel nursing experience is required.
• Experience in a Level I trauma center is highly preferred.
• Candidates should be comfortable and competent caring for ICU patients in multiple critical care environments, including:

  • Neuro/Trauma SICU
  • MICU
  • CPS/VICU
  • CCU
  • Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCCU)
  • ICU/PACU patients awaiting bed placement in the ED
• Floating to a variety of ICUs is highly desired.
• A competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in New York
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU (Intensive Care Unit) experience, including ICU experience within the last year
• One completed travel nursing assignment
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience in Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Experience in Emergency Department (ED)
• Experience in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)
• Experience with Epic electronic medical record system
