Overview

Travel RN position in Nashville, Tennessee
36 hours per week
13-week contract

Unit Details

ICU setting
16 beds
Typical patient ratio is 2:1, with occasional 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity and staffing
Uses ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000
Schedule is built in 4-week increments
Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts per schedule
Contract staff are expected to float first, including to med/surg if needed

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
ICU - Intensive Care Unit (2 years of experience)
ICU - Intensive Care Unit experience within the last year
ACLS
BLS
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Skills / Procedures

Central line insertion
Arterial line insertion
Lumbar puncture
Chest tube insertion
EVD insertion

Work Expectations

Provide attentive and compassionate care to patients and families
