Job Overview

  • Travel RN position in an operating room setting
  • 36 hours per week
  • 13-week contract
  • Schedule: Saturday through Monday, days, with one additional weekday shift covering the third shift

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Colorado
  • OR - Operating Room (1 year of experience)
  • OR - Operating Room experience within the last year
  • ACLS
  • BLS
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Experience

  • Circulating and scrubbing experience
  • Meditech experience

Unit Details

  • Main OR with 14 operating rooms
  • Patient ratio: 1:1
  • Procedures include angioplasty, appendectomy, biopsy, and ortho/spine
  • No transplant procedures

Work Environment

  • On-call required one day per week from 5 PM to 7 PM
  • Weekend on-call occurs once every 6 weeks if the SSC Ortho doctor is on call
  • Emphasis on patient experience, communication with staff and providers, and adaptability to change
