Overview

• Travel RN for the Emergency Room
• Start: ASAP
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 7p-7a
• Hours per week: 36

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alabama
• ED - Emergency Department (1 year of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• BLS
• ACLS
• PALS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred Qualifications

• Cerner experience

Role Details

• Provides care to Emergency Room patients
• Holds shift accountability in the Emergency Department
• Uses the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy and procedures
• Demonstrates critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership for safe patient care
• Maintains clinical competencies through continuing education
• Delegates patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
• Provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care
