Job Description
Seeking a Registered Nurse with a skill level of 3 or higher in joint, neuro, ortho, and vascular specialties. This role is in a large hospital with 815 beds, recognized nationally for clinical quality and patient safety, including Magnet® Designation for nursing excellence.
The position is in the Operating Room unit, requiring broad surgical knowledge and experience across multiple service lines including general surgery, gynecology, robotics, neurology, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma. Procedures performed on the unit are variable.
The schedule is variable and includes call requirements. Floating to other departments may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Experience in Orthopedics, Neurology, and Vascular Surgery
