Unit: Medical Telemetry (MedTele 61417)
Beds: 33 rooms, up to 49 patients (some semi-private rooms)
Staff:
- Day Shift: 2 charge nurses, 2 techs, 6-7 RNs
- Night Shift: 1 charge nurse, 1.5 techs, 5-6 RNs
Patient Ratios:
- Day: 4:1
- Night: 5:1
Equipment: Telemetry monitoring
EMR System: Meditech

Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - Medical-Surgical background required
Certifications: BLS required
Licenses: Registered Nurse License required
Years of Experience: Minimum 2 years in Medical-Surgical nursing (highest requirement)
Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Busy medical floor with specialty in caring for surgical flap patients
Experience with spinal cord injury patients with stage 4 wounds requiring surgical intervention
Collaboration with burn unit for low-acuity burn patients
Use of some semi-private rooms during high census (not preferred)

RNs who enjoy a busy floor environment
Candidates with prior experience in spinal cord injury care are preferred but not required
