ICU Resource Team - RN

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Required Qualifications

• RN license: ND or compact state RN License
• BLS certification, AHA
• ACLS certification, AHA
• NIHSS
• 2 years of ICU RN experience
• Level 1 or 2 trauma experience with a 250+ bed facility
• Experience titrating vasopressor drips
• Ability to care for critically ill patients independently

Schedule

• Day/Night rotate
• 8 and 12 hour shifts, with occasional 4 hour shifts
• Every other weekend
• Every other holiday
• No call required

Unit Details

• 32 beds
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
• May float to med surg as needed
• May float to all critical care departments in Fargo, including 5AB, Intermediate ICU, and Broadway ICU

Role Notes

• Travelers call in each day before their shift to learn which critical care unit/location they will work in
• Employee will not work alone
• Orientation totals 32 hours during the first week
• Navy Blue scrubs
• Must badge in and out
• Cannot take travelers living within 60 miles of the facility
• Local travel rate applies to those living 60 to 80 miles away
