Labor & Delivery RN

Location: Gunnison, Colorado
Employment Type: Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Mix of Day (7am - 7pm) and Night (7pm - 7am) shifts


Job Overview

Provide compassionate, high-quality care to expectant mothers during labor and delivery. Responsibilities include:

  • Childbirth and lactation education
  • Monitoring vital signs
  • Assisting with medical procedures
  • Offering emotional support

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado
  • Minimum 3 years of Labor and Delivery nursing experience, including experience within the last year
  • Experience in Labor Delivery Recovery & Postpartum (LDRP)
  • Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS/BCLS, PALS, NRP
  • Colorado Adult Protective Services (CAPS) check required
  • Reliable transportation required due to lack of public transit in the area

Additional Information

  • Prior travel experience is required for this position.
